     If you are looking for a honest, knowledgeable person to do your piano tuning and repair, Tracy Lamb is the one to call!

     I recently acquired a baby grand piano and called Tracy to help me with the tuning and possible repair work. I was grateful that she was honest to tell me not to waste any money trying to even tune this old piano, as it would be a significant cost and waste of money.
    There were some major cracks inside the piano and some of the strings were rusted. The piano is playable at the moment, but she was concerned that it may not play very well long term.
    I saved a lot of money today and really appreciate her honesty and that she did not try to convince me to do expensive repairs. I will call her again in the future.

     Tracy Lamb has done a wonderful job tuning & voicing our old Baldwin baby grand & fixing the pedal action. We don’t have AC (I know - unbelievable in Fla.) so a top notch de-humidifier is of utmost importance. Plus Tracy’s other recommendations for preserving our piano’s value - eg, felt cover over the strings, keeping the lids completely closed over strings & keys when not in use. (Not so pretty as just a decorative piece of furniture but vital to protect a working musical instrument!) The high treble notes are the first to go out of tune. What a difference a good tuning makes to the fast & furious high notes of the Friska in Franz Liszt’s “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2”. Thank you Tracy!!
